Swix VP55 reflective wax, dark purple, 45g

​Swix VP55 is a dark purple reflective wax designed for cross-country skiing in near-freezing conditions. It is ideal for slightly damp or freshly fallen snow, but also provides reliable reflection on older snow just below freezing without limiting glide. ​

Temperature range:

• Fresh and freshly fallen fine-grained snow: +1 °C to -2 °C​

• Old or partially converted snow: 0°C to -5°C​

• Fluorine-free : Suitable for top athletes and recreational skiers thanks to its excellent properties.

• Contains a new additive : It acts as a lubricant, improving rebound and glide, thus providing a better skiing experience.

Application:

Apply a thin layer of wax to the base and then smooth it out with a synthetic cork (e.g. Swix T12). It is recommended to apply several thin layers for optimal performance. ​
