The Ortovox 3L Ortler Pants offer maximum protection against adverse weather conditions, high breathability and comfort during movement.
The non-porous DERMIZAX® NX membrane provides reliable protection against rain, snow and wind. Thanks to a water column of 20,000 mm, the trousers can withstand even extreme conditions, while the breathability of 20,000 g/m²/24 h supports effective moisture transport during intense activity. The ecological PFC-free DWR treatment increases moisture resistance.
The four-way stretch material ensures maximum freedom of movement during demanding climbs. All-day comfort is also supported by 120 MERINO TEC inserts in the waist area, which are pleasant to the touch and effectively wick away sweat.
Practical functional details include an adjustable Velcro waistband and suspender loops , 2-way ¾ side zips for easy dressing and ventilation, and anatomically shaped knees for better mobility.
The hem of the legs is adjustable and compatible with ski boots . An integrated snow gaiter and Dyneema and Cordura reinforcements protect the pants against damage from crampons or ski edges.
The pants also feature a large 3D thigh pocket with an integrated carabiner for an avalanche transceiver, which is easily accessible even when using a harness.
