The Ortovox 3L Ortler Jacket offers top protection against rain, snow and wind while maintaining low weight and high breathability.
The non-porous DERMIZAX® NX membrane provides maximum protection against moisture and wind. Thanks to a water column of 20,000 mm, the jacket reliably withstands heavy rain and snowfall, while the breathability of 32,000 g/m²/24 h ensures effective moisture wicking during intense movement.
The lightweight and packable design, weighing just 418g, makes it easy to carry in a backpack as a backup protection in the mountains. All seams are taped with thin tape , which minimizes weight while maintaining maximum functionality.
The high protective collar is designed to protect the face even when looking up. The inner part of the collar contains 120 MERINO TEC material , which is pleasant to the touch, absorbs moisture from the breath and remains comfortable even when wet.
Practical functional details include an adjustable hood compatible with a climbing helmet , underarm ventilation holes , a two-way central zipper with a moisture-wicking flap , ergonomically shaped sleeves with Velcro cuffs and the option to adjust the bottom hem with a drawstring.
The jacket is also equipped with a chest pocket and a sleeve pocket for safe storage of small items while moving in the field.
