When we built the Sierra-W, we set out to make the lightest snowboard boot we've ever made, without sacrificing the signature ride feel of Nidecker's modern boot line. The lighter your boot, the longer and harder you can ride. And we're excited to say that the Sierra-W is 27% lighter than its predecessor. When you're going thin, it all starts with the sole. With the Sierra-W, we gave it our Gravity sole, which is made of lightweight and durable EVA. We shaped the lugs the same way we do the rest of our soles - by taking cues from our mountain courses and then tailoring them to give you the most grip possible. The upper of the boot closes quickly and precisely with a single H4 Boa dial on the tongue. We used Boa TX3 textile laces to further reduce weight, add durability, and give the closure a more natural feel.
