The Gea LD 4.0 (nicknamed the “Maestrale in a skirt”) is a time-tested favorite that stands out for its sleek design, light weight, and above all—functionality. Reliable, intuitive, and comfortable, this ski touring boot is designed to conquer any winter terrain with ease.

The new 4.0 version offers enhanced comfort and usability, making it suitable for ski tourers of all performance levels.

Thanks to the updated SPEED LOCK XT ski/walk mechanism, transitioning between modes is smoother and more efficient than ever. The shell and cuff are engineered to balance optimal stiffness with minimum weight. You can also adjust the forward lean angle to match your personal skiing style.

With a 60° range of motion, the cuff allows for long, natural strides across flat terrain—maximizing glide and conserving energy.

The shell and tongue are made from Pebax® Rnew, a bio-based material derived from castor oil. It remains flexible even in freezing temperatures, ensuring consistent performance and efficient energy transfer during both climbs and descents.

The Scarpa®/Vibram® sole made from TOP85 compound delivers excellent durability and grip. It meets DIN ISO 9523 standards and is compatible with all TLT bindings.

The heat-moldable CROSS FIT PRO FLEX TOURING liner offers superb insulation, dries quickly, and includes laces for a secure fit.

Three lightweight buckles (two with micro-adjustment) and a supportive plastic instep strap ensure your foot stays firmly in place whether ascending or descending.
